About Us
Mission Statement
The Jeremiah Project offers compassion, hope and help for single, pregnant women and single mothers with children facing homelessness, providing them with opportunities to have healthy, productive lives.
Core Values
- We believe every life is sacred and has a purpose, hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
- We respect the dignity and life of the mothers and babies, born and unborn, that we serve.
- We want women to find freedom from the shame of an unplanned pregnancy.
- We want women to find freedom from the guilt of a past abortion decision.
- We want women to find the freedom found in a relationship with Jesus, who is the one who can give them life and have it abundantly.
The Jeremiah Project was specifically started to help unwed mothers, single moms and their children find the help they need to become sustainable. The Jeremiah Project provides a non-judgmental, loving relationship with the women, to instill in her that she is not alone. She is given achievable goals to get back on a better path and realize the self-confidence that achievement brings. The sad reality for many of these women is they are caught in a vicious and often repetitive cycle of bad relationships and decisions. Low socioeconomic status and/or the lack of a solid foundation often negatively impacts parenting and the mental health of both mother and child. To positively affect the outcome of the family, The Jeremiah 2911 House, a 501(c)3 Non-profit Public Charity, provides a safe, nurturing environment where moms and their children can thrive. We offer a supportive community of people to help them through the tough time of breaking the cycle of poverty and making poor life decisions.
Learning to create a healthy community is vital to the success of the family. Most of the moms coming to the Project have been in difficult situations and need support from others to rise above the obstacles they face. It takes a lot of work to learn how to create this supportive and healthy community. We want to help them build confidence and see the hope they can have for the future through a personal relationship and daily walk with Jesus Christ.
The Jeremiah Project is a non-profit, public charity under the IRC Section with a 501©3 status govern by a volunteer Board of Directors.
